Carro CV3/33 (CV-33)

The CV-33 (Italian: Carro Veloce CV-33), designated L3/33 from 1938 onwards, was an Italian tankette used during World War II. It was classified as a light tank in the Italian national classification system. During its serial production from 1933 to 1940, approximately 1,400 to 2,000 units were manufactured, depending on various sources. In the 1930s, it was exported to many countries around the world. Until 1940, it formed the backbone of the armored vehicles of the Kingdom of Italy.
The CV-33 saw combat action in Abyssinia (Ethiopia), China, Spain, France, the Balkans, North Africa, East Africa, Italy, and the Soviet Union.
