Glonass K1

This is a 3D model of the Russian satellite “GLONASS-K1” that I created for an all-Russian competition. >_<

“GLONASS-K” (designated as “Uragan-K” in the Federal Targeted Program) is a series of spacecraft belonging to the Russian Global Navigation Satellite System, developed by the Information Satellite Systems named after Academician M.F. Reshetnev.

It represents the third generation of satellites in this series (the first generation being “GLONASS,” and the second generation being “GLONASS-M”). In comparison with satellites from the previous series, they stand out with a guaranteed active service life of 10 years, reduced mass, non-hermetic design, and other enhancements.
